A local desktop web app for maintaining a shared contact directory, syncing with Google Contacts, saving shared app data to Google Drive, and creating printable address book PDFs.

What The App Does

Shared Contacts

Manage contact names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, notes, custom fields, assignments, and meeting/group labels.

Google Sync

Import contacts from Google Contacts, upload user-approved contact edits, and save shared ContactsFreeShare data to Google Drive.

Printable PDFs

Create field lists and address book PDFs for local printing and, when enabled, save generated PDFs to Google Drive.

How It Runs

ContactsFreeShare runs locally on the user's computer and opens in a browser at http://127.0.0.1:8000. App data is stored locally on the user's computer. When Google sync is enabled, selected app data is also saved to the user's Google account.

Google Data Use

ContactsFreeShare uses Google sign-in to identify the connected account, Google Contacts to import and update contacts at the user's request, and Google Drive file access to create and manage ContactsFreeShare files and folders. See the Privacy Policy for details.
